چکیده

Abstract Among the main causes of environmental deterioration worldwide, buildings are among those responsible for a large percentage energy-related CO 2 emissions. Because this, finding solutions to this problem is necessary. This research project involves building energy model neighbourhood located in Panama, Herrera province. The elements were classified and systematized using DesignBuilder then implemented an optimization analysis that seeks approximate NZED standard. optimization’s objectives maintain or improve thermal comfort, reducing consumption lowest possible. best design options given by method essential variables determined sensitivity analysis. It was possible conclude combining changes occupant behavior with specific envelope leads more efficient reduction electricity consumption. they lead significant without involving cost total modification envelope, these modifications, 52,852 kWh/year obtained at renovation B/.19,890.00 recovery period seven years.

Analysis and Optimization using Renewable Energies to Get Net-Zero Energy Building for Warm Climate

Due to low energy price, economic optimization of consumption has no justification for users in Iran. Nowadays, the issue of ending fossil fuels, production of greenhouse gases and the main role of building in consumption of considerable amount of energy has drawn the focus of global researches to a new concept called net zero energy building. In this study, modeling, simulation and energy anal...

A decision support model for multi-attribute group decision making using a multi-objective optimization approach

The multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem has received considerable attention in the decision analysis field and fruitful achievements have been reported in the literature. This paper focuses on the MAGDM in which the subjective absolute judgement on alternatives with respect to evaluating attributes are represented by fuzzy numbers. This paper employs the consensus degree to me...

GA-Based Multi-Objective Optimization for Retrofit Design on a Multi-Core PC Cluster

This article presents a distributed nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) for optimal seismic retrofit design using buckling restrained braces (BRBs) on a cluster of multi-core PCs. In the formulation, two conflicting objective functions of the initial BRB installation cost required for seismic retrofitting and damage cost that can be incurred by earthquakes expected during the li...

Multiple attribute decision making with triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers based on zero-sum game approach

For many decision problems with uncertainty, triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number is a useful tool in expressing ill-known quantities. This paper develops a novel decision method based on zero-sum game for multiple attribute decision making problems where the attribute values take the form of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers and the attribute weights are unknown. First, a new value ind...
